Overview
Aluvance is focussed on the discovery of economic gold, copper and bauxite deposits in Africa, and is currently assembling a portfolio of exploration licences in Cameroon and Ethiopia while expanding activities into north east Africa.

Gold
In June 2011 the Company was granted the 761km2 Laboum licence and the 808km2 Bikoula licence. The Laboum licence targets a 30km long regional shear zone in northern Cameroon. Historical mapping has defined a 20km long zone of gold bearing streams and alluvial workings, and reconnaissance exploration began in June 2011.

Bauxite
The Company holds two bauxite exploration licences (Mandoum & Birsok) covering approximately 2,000km2 in the Adamawa region of northern Cameroon. The licences are strategically located between the Minim-Martap and Ngaoundal bauxite occurrences that are subject to exploration and development by Cameroon Alumina Ltd; a joint venture between Hydromine Inc, Hindalco Industries Ltd and Dubai Aluminium Co.

The Company has undertaken a programme of remote sensing over these licences areas and follow up field exploration programmes which have defined primary bauxite occurrences coincident with weathered plateaus.

Iron Ore
The Bikoula licence is strategically located within a globally significant iron ore corridor in southern Cameroon. The licence contains 13.7km of mapped BIF coincident with large geophysical anomalies, and lies 6km north of Nkout (1.4Bt) and 160km northwest of Mbalam (2.4Bt) deposits. The licence is within 30km of proposed iron ore rail line to deep water port 270km to the west. A reconnaissance programme is underway.
